TypeBay is a free typing speed test that runs entirely in your browser. We built it to be private by design:
Nothing. TypeBay has no accounts, no sign-ups, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising. Your keystrokes, typing results and settings never leave your device.
Your settings, typing history and saved results are stored in your browser's own storage (localStorage / IndexedDB) on your device only. Clearing your browser data removes them. No server ever receives them.
TypeBay loads no third-party scripts. The service is hosted on Cloudflare's network, which handles standard network requests and may keep routine, short-lived connection logs for security and operation — the same as any website host.

TypeBay is a modified fork of the open-source project Monkeytype, licensed under the GPL-3.0.
